Three Consecutive School Holidays in September

School students are looking forward to a three-day break in mid-September, thanks to the expected Eid Miladun Nabi celebrations on September 16 (Monday).

Although Pakistan’s official moon sighting committee, Ruet-e-Hilal, has yet to announce the sighting of Rabiul Awwal, it is anticipated that Eid Miladun Nabi will fall on Monday, September 16. This would provide a long weekend from September 14 to September 16.

The Ruet-e-Hilal committee is scheduled to meet on September 4 to confirm the sighting of the crescent moon. If the moon is observed, Rabiul Awwal will begin on September 5, making September 16 Eid Miladun Nabi. In this scenario, students will enjoy a break from September 14 to 16. However, if the moon is not sighted, Eid Miladun Nabi will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17, and Monday will remain a regular working day.
