Quaid-i-Azam University has announced a new scholarship opportunity for female students. The MR & MRS. AMEER AHMED SIDDIQUI ENDOWMENT TRUST FUND SCHOLARSHIP is open to female students from specific departments, including SPIR, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, and Zoology.
Key Eligibility Criteria:
- Female Students Only: The scholarship is exclusively for female students enrolled in the mentioned departments.
- Regular Students: Self-financed students are not eligible to apply.
- GPA Requirement: Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 per semester to be considered.
- Coursework Duration: The scholarship covers tuition fees for two semesters only, provided the student meets the GPA requirement.
- M. Phil. Students: M. Phil. students are eligible during their coursework period.
- Semester Eligibility: Only BS 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th semester students can apply.
- Financial Need: The scholarship will be awarded based on merit and financial need.
- Loss of Parent: Applicants who have lost one or both parents will be given priority.
- Evidence of Financial Need: Applicants must provide proof of financial need along with their application.
- Multiple Scholarships: Students cannot receive more than one scholarship in addition to this one.
Application Process:
- Application forms are available at the Photocopier Shop of the Central Library or the relevant department.
- The deadline for submitting applications is September 30, 2024.
Required Documents:
- All educational testimonials
- Copies of utility bills (Electricity, Gas, Water, Telephone)
- Medical bills (if any)
- Copy of fee Challan Fall 2024 semester
- Income certificate/pay slip of parents
- Copy of death certificate of parent(s), if applicable

The notice has been circulated to the Chairperson/Director of concerned departments/schools and posted on notice boards.
