Punjab Government Reshuffles Officers in Information & Culture Department

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Punjab government has announced the transfer and posting of several key officials within the Information & Culture Department. The move aims to streamline operations and enhance the department’s efficiency.

Among the notable changes, Mr. Kursheed Jillani, Director Public Relations (Sahiwal), has been appointed as Director (Coordination) at the DGPR Headquarters in Lahore. Mr. Aqeel Ashfaq, previously serving as Divisional Information Officer in Faisalabad, will now take over as Director Public Relations in Sahiwal, replacing Mr. Jillani.

Other significant changes include the appointment of Mr. Ishtiaq Amin as Deputy Director Public Relations in Bahawalnagar and Mr. Muhammad Junaid Jatoi as Deputy Director Public Relations in D.G. Khan.

Several superintendents within the department have also been reassigned. Mr. Farhat Abbas has been transferred from Faisalabad to Rawalpindi, while Mr. Zameer Hassan Butt will move from Rawalpindi to Faisalabad.

Additionally, Ms. Mahjabeen Tahir, Assistant PILAC, Lahore, has had her deputation with PUCAR, Bahawalpur, cancelled and will return to her parent department.

The government’s decision to reshuffle the department’s leadership is expected to bring fresh perspectives and improve the department’s overall performance.
