The Punjab Excise Department has announced the launch of a vanity number plates scheme, set to begin next week. According to Director Excise, Muhammad Asif, citizens will now be able to create personalized number plates featuring their name and preferred numbers.

The scheme will offer three categories of vanity plates:

In a notable development, Mufti Qavi has been appointed as the official ambassador for this scheme. The initiative is expected to provide vehicle owners with a personalized touch while ensuring better monitoring and security.
