Test Attendance and Oversight

Dr. Pervaiz Memon, in charge of the STS’s Karachi centre, mentioned that 96% of the candidates who registered attended the written test, indicating the strong enthusiasm among the youth to secure employment within the police department.

The Vice Chancellor of Sukkur IBA University and CEO of STS, Professor Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, visited various examination centres to ensure smooth operation. He expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and emphasized that transparency and merit are the pillars of the recruitment process. “Every effort will be made to ensure merit,” he affirmed.

Aspirations of the Candidates

The young candidates who took the written test expressed their eagerness to serve the citizens with dedication and contribute to crime reduction in the city. Their commitment to public service through a career in the police department was evident in their determination.

Impact on Traffic

The written test at Federal Urdu University, however, caused some inconvenience to the public. Traffic flow on University Road was disrupted, leading to difficulties for citizens traveling along this route. Steps may need to be taken in future recruitment drives to minimize such disruptions.

The massive turnout for both the physical and written tests demonstrates the intense competition and the desire among young people to join the Sindh Police Department. With transparency and merit-based recruitment processes in place, the Sindh Police aims to recruit capable and dedicated individuals to serve the community.
