In a recent incident in Multan, a man was struck and killed by lightning while cutting grass during a rainstorm. According to reports received by the Rescue Control Room, the call came from the Adda Nawab Pur area, indicating that the man was unconscious after being hit by lightning.
Upon receiving the emergency call, the Rescue Control Room immediately dispatched an ambulance and rescue teams to the scene. Rescuers arrived to find that, according to witnesses, the man had been carrying a load of grass for animals on his head when the lightning struck, resulting in his death on the spot.
After completing the necessary procedures, rescue personnel have handed over the deceased’s body to the family.
