Google TV Adds 7 New Channels, Bringing Total to 157 Free Channels

Google TV continues to expand its library of free channels, now offering several new options, including The Bob Ross Channel.

With seven additional channels available on Google TV devices like Chromecast, users can stream them directly from the homescreen or through the Freeplay app.

The latest channels include:

• The Bob Ross Channel
• Comedy Dynamics
• Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan
• Dazn Ringside
• Dazn Women’s Football
• Dove Channel
• The Hill TV

This brings Google TV’s total free channel count to 157, following a recent addition of over a dozen channels.

Initially, Google TV launched with around 80 channels in 2023, but users can access hundreds more through partners like Plex and Tubi. These free channels are currently only available in the United States, with no plans for international expansion yet.
