Punjab Government Reshuffles Assistant Commissioners

In a significant shake-up of the Punjab bureaucracy, the provincial government has announced a series of transfers and postings. Several Assistant Commissioners across various districts have been reassigned, while others have been sent on courses.

The notification issued by the Home Department details the following changes:

• Pakpattan: Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Naeem Bashir has been sent on a course, and Assistant Commissioner of Hafizabad, Manoor Hussain, has been posted to Pakpattan.
• Hafizabad: Saheel Riaz, a Section Officer in the Home Department, has been appointed as the new Assistant Commissioner of Hafizabad.
• Sialkot: Assistant Commissioner Shaza Rahman has been directed to report to the Services Department, and Jamshid Iqbal, a Section Officer in the Irrigation Department, has taken over as the new Assistant Commissioner of Sialkot.
• Multan: Assistant Commissioner Nasir Shahzad has been sent on a course, and Muhammad Irfan has been posted as the new Assistant Commissioner.
• Taxila: Assistant Commissioner Salman Akbar has been sent on a course, and Waseeq Abbas has been appointed as the new Assistant Commissioner.
• Chubara: Assistant Commissioner Hasan Nazir has been sent on a course, and Sanaullah, a Section Officer in the Higher Education Department, has been posted to Chubara.
• Gujranwala Sadr: Assistant Commissioner Usman Sikandar has been sent on a course, and Assistant Commissioner of Pind Dadan Khan, Haleema Munir, has been posted to Gujranwala Sadr. Nadia Parveen has been appointed as the new Assistant Commissioner of Pind Dadan Khan.
• Bhimber: Assistant Commissioner Mudassar Mumtaz has been sent on a course.
• Jhelum: Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Mubin Ahsan has been sent on a course, and Muhammad Umar Adnan Khattak, a Section Officer in the Local Government Department, has been posted as the new Assistant Commissioner.
• Tandlianwala: Assistant Commissioner Safa Abid has been directed to report to the Services Department, and Azka Sahar, a Section Officer in the Welfare Wing of the Services Department, has been appointed as the new Assistant Commissioner.
• Harunabad: Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Kafaitullah has been directed to report to the Services Department, and Abdul Hafeez Bajwa, a Section Officer in the Communication and Works Department, has been posted as the new Assistant Commissioner.
• Phalia: Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Afzal Chaudhry has been posted as the new Assistant Commissioner of Sohawa.
• Sohawa: Assistant Commissioner Fazil Mudassir has been posted as the new Assistant Commissioner of Phalia.
• Rajanpur: Assistant Commissioner Zahur Ahmed Auan has been directed to report to the Services Department, and Jameel Ahmed, a Section Officer in the Special Education Department, has been posted as the new Assistant Commissioner.
