Two high-value computer systems, worth approximately Rs. 0.6 million, were reported stolen from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The theft was brought to the attention of law enforcement by the Supreme Court’s Director of IT, leading to the filing of an official case at the Secretariat Police Station.
As per the details outlined in the First Information Report (FIR), the stolen computers had been recently moved to a room on the third floor before their disappearance. According to the Senior Deputy Director of the Network, the systems, which included CPUs and LCDs, were missing.
CCTV footage revealed suspicious activity by two employees, Faisal and Zahid, who were seen in the vicinity at the time of the incident. The police have launched an investigation following the registration of the case.
