The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), in collaboration with intelligence agencies, dismantled an international human trafficking gang on Sunday and seized counterfeit documents during the operation. Acting on the orders of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the authorities apprehended individuals involved in deceiving people by promising overseas jobs in exchange for large sums of money.
The gang specialized in creating fake documents using a printing press, and during the investigation, they confessed to having ties with international networks. Indian and Afghan nationals were also implicated in the illegal activities. The operation further uncovered an Indian plot aimed at tarnishing Pakistan’s reputation.
Interior Minister Naqvi praised the efforts of the FIA and intelligence agencies, calling the operation a major milestone in the fight against human trafficking.
