Fake ASI Arrested for Online Sexual Harassment in Islamabad

The Cyber Crime Circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Rawalpindi has successfully apprehended a fake Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in a significant operation. Under the directives of the Director General FIA, the crackdown against individuals involved in cybercrimes continues.

During a raid, the FIA team arrested an individual involved in online sexual harassment. The suspect was employed as a security guard at a private university. He would pose as an American citizen to lure female students into his trap and falsely present himself as an FIA officer to sexually harass them. The accused, identified as Muhammad Jabir, was arrested from Jinnah Garden, Islamabad.

Initial investigations reveal that the arrested suspect was involved in blackmailing female students under the pretext of possessing inappropriate material. The FIA recovered objectionable content from his mobile phone. The suspect had been harassing students for several months. Following the arrest, an investigation has been initiated.
